Title: purepath bin files

i have completed bin-file generation process following your guideline ?successfully.

everything worked like described but i am looking for information how to enable the different settings.

if there are more than 2 bin-files in directory /lib/firmware/allo/pian/2.2 how does the driver select and activate specific bin-files?

Files are selected depending on the following:

1. Mode selected (2.1 or 2.2) - selects the files from respective folders

/lib/firmware/allo/piano/2.1 => Mono sub-woofer bin files
/lib/firmware/allo/piano/2.2 => Stereo sub-woofer and audio-speaker bin files.

2. Sample rate: 44100, 48000, 88200, 96000, 176400 or 192000

3. cut-off (cross-over) frequency : 60, 70, …. 190 or 200

4. sub-woofer: 1 for subwoofer & 0 for audio-speakers.

File is named according to these values: allo-piano-dsp-<sampling rate>-<cut-off-frequency>-<sub-woofer>.bin

thank you for the prompt response. pls see the screendumps attached.
on a fresh pietdi installation none of the files was read (see dmesg-output).

pls tell how israte 44100 and cut-off 100hz selected and how to change from rate 44100 to 4800, cut-off 100hz.

Post by: kurasov1965S on September 25, 2017, 09:18:50 AM: I haven't used it in a while, but I did manage to successfully use that program for a few FF7 BIN files not sure if that included WINDOW.BIN. Did you follow the instructions included?

Have received a file from a friend over Xmas that is a .bin file when extracted turns into a .cpgz file and when that is extracted turns back into a .bin file. Its some video that he shot that I would like to see. Any way of extracting this file?
