Dear Team,

      In general no need of earth connection for CM board. If you wanted to connect earth then you have to connect the shielded mounting hole(Conductive path) with metallic spacers.But we are providing only plastic spacers.

Dear Team,

Yes.You can change the external oscillators(on board) for MCLK. Corrently  we are assembled on board oscillators are 45.15850Mhz and 49.15200Mhz  from NDK.

So if you want, you can change any oscillator with 44.1Khz and 48Khz family. But you have to remove and solder the Oscillators manually and the oscillators should be same footprint.

Sparky support RTC ,No third party RTC unit required,only need battery connection

But only custom designed sparky will support RTC. RTC's  specific circuitry to support RTC .

1) The exact frequency values for the Oscillators are (22.5792Mhz/24.576Mhz)  &  (45.1584Mhz/49.152Mhz)
    2) Both the versions supports at most of the mp3 files.
    3) Only different between 45/49 version and 22/24 version is, in 22/24 version ,it supports upto 176.4K(44.1k family) and 192k(48k family)   sampling rate audio files.But in case of 45/49 version supports above 176.4k(44.1k family) and 192k (48k family).
   4) And both the versions ,it wouldn't degrade any audio quality.Because both the versions of Oscillators(from NDK) having very low jitter (3-5ps).

Hat size -: mounting holes and connectors will match with RPI
Hat Compliant -: Still under process but it support with RPI

what are the jitter accuracy measurements of Kali?

Automatic FS switching -according to the Audio sampling rate KALI will select (ON BOARD) external Crystal Oscillators MCLK
