You can use 20-pin PSUs in a 24-pin mobo.No need to use any converter but u should use a 24-pin PSU so that your board get enough stable power.

With WASAPI Engine3 is exactly the same. While 32/176 sound OK, 32/352 is slow.

Do you need log files?

Hi,

   You need to give power supply for RPI and KALI board.No need to connect battery or power supply to the isolator board.

Hi folks,

I am using a RPI+KALI combo which is fed to my i2s DAC. At present I power the Kali using the standard wall wart power supply by Allo and that indirectly powers on the RPI too.

I have just received an Isolator board by Allo and am not clear as to how to power each components now? I have also received the battery pack from Allo. Question:

RPI-->ISOLATOR-->KALI

If I power on the isolator using the lifepo 18650 batteries, will that power on the RPI too? (maybe that defeats isolation then). If the isolator doesnt power on the RPI, do I buy a separate power supply for the RPI?

Then coming to KALI, it will require a second power supply for itself?

If someone can clarify quick, I can get these going asap.

BOSS DAC / Kodi wont play via Boss

Hi

I just bought a Boss soundcard
it is on a raspberry 3
I'm using max2play (Version 2.44)
Squeezelite works fine.

But using Kodi I cannot play sound through the Boss
(only hdmi or jack)
It is not available as a output to choose.

Dmesg (see att) gives the following error message about the Boss

5.306142] snd-allo-boss-dac soc:sound: ASoC: CPU DAI (null) not registered - will retry
[ 5.306164] snd-allo-boss-dac soc:sound: snd_soc_register_card() failed: -517
[ 5.312306] snd-allo-boss-dac soc:sound: ASoC: CODEC DAI pcm512x-hifi not registered - will retry
[ 5.312341] snd-allo-boss-dac soc:sound: snd_soc_register_card() failed: -517

Dou you have an idea what this could cause and what the solution is ?
The config.txt is also in the att

I haven't used it in a while, but I did manage to successfully use that program for a few FF7 BIN files not sure if that included WINDOW.BIN. Did you follow the instructions included?
