Hi,

Using your sparky sbc with cheapo and the vanaplayer image. Testing with headphones. Is there anything else in particular you need to know?

Thanks.

Another thing I noticed is that Linux doesn't see any audio device... nor via gpio or the Sparky onboard dac. Missing drivers in the vanaplayer image?

Hi,

It is M2P. Imagen downloaded from:

https://github.com/sparkysbc/sparky_linux_images/blob/master/README.md

I wrote the imagen on an sd card following instructions. Image boots, but no sound device seen. Yet another thing noticed is that when I run Kofi from M2P web front end, and go to settings-audio output, my mouse freezes. This only happens on this menu option... any other entry does not affect the mouse.

Thanks again.

Hi Admin,

I am using 141016.

I haven't tried RCA or SPDIF... in any case, no audio device seen in Linux config settings.

Thanks.

Dear Team,

     Piano 2.0 (171016)  or piano2.1(141016) will not included cheapo driver so cheapo will not work with this image .You can Download Diet pi from below link it will support CHEAPO

http://www.dietpi.com/#noAction

And flash image to SD CARD and boot the sparky board with image

After booting you can install squeezebox server and squeelite player

Then you can access the sqeezebox server through browser by entering the ip :9000

Note:Please connect properly connect 3 pin to sparky which are present in CHEAPO board

Also, installed DietPi... and after browsing through their forums, the Sparky is in beta phase, with no support for GPU features yet... this means Kodi, and graphical desktop environments can't be installed.

Can you guys tell me what's the plan for full support of DietPi for your board?

Thanks!

Hello ,

Existing Dietpi version cheapo optical selection Not working ,we are in communication with DietPI team for support

Cheapo 3.5 mm audio jack only working on this selection.

You can refer following ,so that SPDIF will be work for you

For Cheapo SPDIF(Optical) working  /etc/asound.conf has to edit and reboot.

pcm.!default {

    type hw

    card 0

    device 2

}

ctl.!default {

    type hw

    card 0

}

Hope this helps .
